【摘要】:Theenergyinputratetestandthermostatcalibrationareusedtoconfirmthatthecombinationovenisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertestingandtoensurethatalltestresultsaredeterminedatthesametemperature.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanagepowerdemandsandtoknowhowquicklythecombinationovencanbereadyforoperation.Idleenergyrateandpilotenergyratecanbeusedtoestimateenergyconsumptionduringnon-cookingperiods.Cooking-energyefficiencyisapreciseindicatorofcombinationovenenergyperformanceundervariousloadingconditions.Thisinformationenablesthefoodserviceoperatortoconsiderenergyperformancewhenselectingacombinationoven.Productioncapacitycanbeusedbyfoodserviceoperatorstochooseacombinationoventhatmatchestheirfoodoutputrequirements.Waterconsumptioncharacterizationisusefulforestimatingwaterandsewagecostsassociatedwithcombinationovenoperation.Condensatetemperaturemeasurementisusefultoverifythatthecondensatetemperaturedoesnotviolateapplicablebuildingcodes.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationoftheenergyconsumptionandcookingperformanceofcombinationovens.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectacombinationovenandunderstanditsenergyconsumption.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletogasandelectriccombinationovensthatareoperatedinthecombinationmodeonly.Forevaluationofacombinationovenoperatedineitherconvectiononlymodeorsteamonlymode,applyeitherTestMethodF1496orTestMethodF1484,respectively.1.3Thecombinationovencanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrateandthermostatcalibration(10.2).1.3.2Preheatenergyconsumptionandtime(10.3).1.3.3Idleenergyrate(10.4).1.3.4Pilotenergyrate(ifapplicable)10.5).1.3.5Cooking-energyefficiency,cookingenergyrate,andproductioncapacity(10.7).1.3.6Waterconsumptionandcondensatetemperature(10.7).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
